Enquire
A quiet conversation, whenever you’re ready
Getting in touch begins a considered conversation, not a transaction. Whether a particular work has stayed with you, you have a practical question, or you simply want to say hello, you are welcome here.
Every enquiry reaches Robert directly and there is no obligation.
Before you write
A few things worth knowing before you reach out:
- Every enquiry receives a personal reply usually within two working days. No system is entirely free from spam filtering or the possibility of technical disruption, and while we do our best to prevent anything slipping through, please do not worry about sending a follow-up if you haven’t heard back.
- There is no obligation to go further, and no pressure at any point.
- No question is too small. If you’re not sure what to ask, that’s perfectly fine, we are perfectly happy to help guide you.
- New to collecting? You are just as welcome as anyone. Ask as much as you like.
Contact us with an enquiry or question
The contact form below is the best place to begin – for questions about a work, an edition, availability, a commission, the books, or simply to introduce yourself. If a particular piece has drawn you, this is the place.
Once you’ve been in touch, Robert will reply personally. Where it’s helpful, he can share a direct email address or continue the conversation over WhatsApp – whichever suits you best.
Prefer to read first? You are welcome to request the collector pack – a considered overview of the work, editions, provenance, materials, and how to acquire – before you write a word.
Would you prefer a more personal first step? A private line is available on request for those who would like a quieter, more direct route into the conversation.
Studio Dispatch request
If you’d like to stay close to the work, you are warmly invited to join Studio Dispatch – my occasional email of reflections, working notes, and quiet news from the studio.
From time to time, I share something of the thinking behind the photographs, glimpses of the process as new work takes shape, and early access to new collections and virtual exhibitions.
It is a gentle way to follow the practice, and to see where the work is leading next. You are free to unsubscribe at any time.
You’re in careful hands
A few quiet reassurances as you decide whether to write:
- A real person, every time. Every enquiry is read and answered personally.
- Costs shared in full. Where an acquisition is discussed, you’ll always have the complete, all-in picture – the work, framing, delivery, insurance, and any tax or import – in writing, before you commit to anything.
- Plain English, always. If anything is unclear, we’ll happily explain it.
- Your details, respected. Your information is used only to reply to you and is never sold. You can read more in our Privacy Policy.
Questions you might have first
How long until I hear back?
You can expect a personal reply, usually within two working days. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in England and Wales.
Will I be under any pressure to buy?
Never. Making contact begins a conversation, nothing more. You’re welcome to ask as much as you need and decide entirely in your own time.
Can I see more detail before I write?
Yes – you’re welcome to request the collector pack, which covers the work, editions, provenance, materials, framing, and how to acquire, in full, before you begin a conversation.
Will I know the full cost before I commit?
Yes. Alongside the price of a work, we’ll set out anything that sits beside it – framing, delivery, insurance, and any tax or import charges – clearly and in writing, before you’re asked to decide.
I’m new to collecting – is that welcome?
Very much so. Whether this is your first acquisition or one of many, every question is welcome and you’ll never be made to feel out of place.
Will my email inbox be bombarded?
No. You’ll only receive marketing emails if you choose to join the mailing list. If you do, it will be for occasional studio news and updates on new works rather than a constant stream of messages. You can unsubscribe at any time, and service messages about an enquiry or order are kept separate from optional mailing-list updates.
How is my information handled?
We collect only what’s needed to reply to you and manage any acquisition, and we explain it all plainly. You can read the detail in our Privacy Policy.
No hurry at all
When you’re ready to explore further, these may help:
- Galleries – to spend more time with the work
- Editions & Provenance – how the editions work, and how each is authenticated
- Materials & Framing – how each print is made and presented
- Commissions – to consider a bespoke collaboration
Whenever you’re ready, we’re always glad to help.
