Availability & Enquiries
Acquiring a work begins with a quiet conversation, not a checkout. This page explains how availability works, what to expect when you get in touch, and how a print travels from interest to ownership.
How availability works
Each image is released in a single, limited process – Archival Pigment Ink or Platinum Palladium. To ask what remains in an edition, simply enquire, and you will receive a clear, current answer. Where pricing reflects an edition’s stage, that is shared plainly as information, never as a prompt to rush.
Making an enquiry
The process is simple and human:
- Get in touch about the work that has drawn you, using the enquiry route below.
- Receive a personal reply – a real conversation with Robert about the work, its edition, and its presentation.
- Talk through the detail – availability, framing options, cost, and delivery.
- Decide in your own time, with clear next steps whenever you feel ready.
What to expect
Every enquiry receives a personal reply, typically within two working days. You are welcome to ask as much as you need before deciding anything.
Costs and logistics
So you can plan with confidence, a conversation will cover the all-in picture:
- The price of the work, and its edition and process.
- Framing, where chosen, and its cost.
- Shipping Details – packing, delivery, and transit insurance.
- Payment Terms.
- International Availability – for collectors acquiring from outside the UK, including any tax or import considerations.
Begin an enquiry
To start a conversation, use the enquiry form with the title of the work where you can. Carrying the title through means any reply begins with clarity.
Questions before you enquire
How long until I hear back?
We aim to reply personally within two working days. If we happen to be away on location, we will still be in touch as soon as we can.
How is the work delivered?
Every work is packed with care and sent using a tracked service, with insurance in transit. When you enquire, we will confirm the delivery method, timing, and any cost for your particular work. For framed and higher-value pieces, we will agree a delivery date with you before dispatch. You can read the full detail in our Shipping Policy.
Can I acquire a work from outside the UK?
Yes. International acquisitions are welcome, and we handle each one individually so the detail is accurate and up to date. Before you commit, you will receive a written estimate covering shipping, insurance, and any customs or import charges that may apply.
How is payment handled?
Payment can be made by secure card payment through our online shop, or by bank transfer where offered. Card payments are processed by a trusted third-party provider, so we never see or store your full card details. We will confirm the payment options for your work when you enquire.
What happens after I make an enquiry?
You will receive a personal reply from the studio. We will talk through the work, its edition and process, availability, and the all-in cost, then set out clear next steps whenever you feel ready. There is no obligation and no hurry.
Will I know the full cost before I commit?
Yes. Alongside the price of the work, we will set out anything that sits beside it – framing, packing, delivery, transit insurance, and any tax or import charges. You will always have this complete picture in writing before you are asked to decide.
How do I know a work is still available?
Simply ask, and we will give you a clear, current answer. Each image is released in a single, limited process, so availability can change as an edition sells. Where pricing reflects an edition’s stage, we will explain that plainly – never as a reason to rush.
Can I place a hold on a work while I decide?
In most cases, yes. If you would like a little time to consider a piece, let us know when you enquire and we will do our best to arrange it. We would rather you felt certain than hurried.
Can I see a work in person before deciding?
Where practical, this can sometimes be arranged. Please mention it in your enquiry and we will let you know what is possible for the work you have in mind.
I’m new to collecting — is that welcome?
Absolutely! Whether this is your first acquisition or one of many, you are welcome to ask as many questions as you need. We are always glad to help you feel confident before you decide.
